I got my start in insurance back in 2007 as a customer service rep, and honestly, that role shaped how I still approach this work today—with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help people feel heard. Insurance can be confusing, and most folks only reach out when something’s changed or gone wrong. That’s why I keep things casual but clear, always setting expectations and being upfront about the process. I want people to feel like they’re talking to someone who gets it—not just checking a box.

What sets our agency apart isn’t just the training or the knowledge (though we’ve got plenty of that). It’s the way we work together. We’re a small, tight-knit team with a mix of backgrounds and experiences, which makes for some great conversations and even better collaboration. I show up every day with one goal: support the people around me so they can thrive. When our team feels good, our clients feel it too.

 

Outside the office, I’m proud of the way we show up for our community—whether it’s volunteering for nonprofits or raising awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month and Life Insurance Awareness Month. I also love spending time outdoors hiking and camping, catching a movie, or joining in on group events with the crew.

A fun fact most people don’t know? I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran. And if I had to sum up my approach to life and work, it’d be this: keep doing your best and everything will work out.
